We do not require an account or an email address to read our cholesterol guides. We do collect limited technical and campaign-attribution data so the site works, so we can understand page performance, and so purchases can be attributed to the correct advertising visit.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our web server and first-party measurement endpoint may receive limited technical and usage information, including:

• The pages and guide screens viewed, interaction events, scroll depth, and approximate time on page.
• Referring source, campaign, keyword, ad-content labels, and a Microsoft click identifier when one is present in the landing-page URL.
• A randomly generated first-party session identifier used to connect events from the same guide visit.
• Device category, screen dimensions, browser language, IP address in ordinary web-server logs, and basic request metadata.

Our cholesterol guide does not ask for or transmit lab results, medication details, health-assessment answers, a name, an email address, a phone number, or payment information.

Browser storage and attribution

The cholesterol guide uses browser local storage to retain a random session identifier, campaign labels, and a valid Microsoft click identifier for up to 89 days. This lets internal guide links preserve attribution and lets an affiliate purchase be matched to the visit that generated it. You can clear this information at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Some areas of Whole Journey Health use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page use. The cholesterol funnel uses a first-party event log for page and link diagnostics.

For visits carrying a valid Microsoft Advertising click identifier, the cholesterol funnel also loads Microsoft Universal Event Tracking (UET). UET can set or read advertising cookies and measure page visits or affiliate-link clicks. We limit UET on this funnel to Microsoft-attributed visits and valid returning Microsoft clicks. Microsoft's handling of this data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Affiliate links and third-party checkout

Some pages contain clearly disclosed affiliate links. If you follow one and buy from the third-party seller, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. The link may include our affiliate ID, a random funnel session ID, and a Microsoft click ID so the purchase can be attributed correctly.

The seller controls its own website, checkout, payments, shipping, and customer records. Information you provide after leaving Whole Journey Health is governed by that seller's privacy policy and terms.

How we use and share data

We use the limited data described above to operate and secure the site, diagnose broken pages, understand guide engagement, measure advertising and affiliate performance, and prevent duplicate or invalid attribution. We do not sell a list of visitor names or contact details. Data may be processed by hosting, analytics, advertising, and affiliate-platform providers only as needed for those functions or as required by law.

Retention and choices

Campaign attribution stored in the browser expires or is discarded after the applicable attribution window. Server logs and event records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, attribution, and performance analysis. You can block cookies, clear local storage, use browser privacy controls, or leave the site. Blocking storage or advertising scripts may reduce attribution accuracy but will not prevent access to the educational guide.

Children

The site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the cholesterol guide.

Security and policy changes

We use HTTPS and reasonable operational safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security. We may update this policy when our tools or practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
